Welcome back to the Sutta Meditation Series Podcast.

This is part of a 20-part session on the Vatthupama Sutta (MN7) - the Buddha's Discourse on the Simile of the Cloth. It was conducted on 29 December 2020 for families, adults, and children.

This episode takes a deep dive into Negligence (pamādo), one of the 16 mental stains from the Vatthupama Sutta. We learn about how to meditate to abandon this mental stain or defilement with a gentle guided meditation.

In the complete 20-part session we:

- study the words of the Buddha in the Vatthupama Sutta;

- discuss some of the benefits of learning this meditation;

- 'deep dive' into the 16 mental stains;

- meditate on each of the 16 mental stains (guidance provided) to directly experience the fruits of this teaching; and

- look into the Buddha's teachings on what to expect from bad actions
